REGISTRATION DAYS

11th and 18th September 2010

Registration and payments from 10am - 12pm at the surf club. (EFTPOS available, see fees below)

Pool Swim commences at 1pm at Hastings Council Public Olympic Pool in Gordon Street, Port Macquarie (entry fees apply).

Competition Skill Evaluation (Ocean Swim) straight afterwards at a venue to be advised.

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION

New and current members are urged to register online.

Go to www.lifesavingonline.com.au any time to register each family member separately.  Make note of usernames and passwords.

Payments can be made at the surf club on the above dates.


AGE GROUPS

In accordance with regulations from Surf Lifesaving NSW, a child must have turned 5 prior to 30 September 2010 to be eligible to join Nippers.  Children are registered in the age group according to the age of the child on 30 September.  For example, if your child is 11 on 30 September, the child will be in the Under 12's.

NEW TO NIPPERS

For those children who are undertaking nippers  for the first time, it will be necessary to sight a birth certificate or passport for proof of age.
Those transferring from other surf clubs or re-registering with the club from previous years do not need to provide any proof of age documents.


PROFICIENCIES

Each child is required to demonstrate a certain level of confidence and ability in the water before they can compete in water events. The following are the Club's minimum standards for the Pool swim and the Competition Skill Evaluation, criteria has been set by NSW Surf Lifesaving.  You must have successfully completed these competencies to compete in any swim event and will be required to re-qualify each season.

FEES

Fees for the 2010/2011 season are as follows:

Adult member $75
Junior  member (Under 19 years)                                                $35
Associate member $60
Family membership $130

It is club policy that all nipper members will have at least one parent or guardian who is registered as an associate member of the club.

The club now has EFTPOS facilities available for membership payments.
